![]() ![]() This is obviously a retelling of the Beauty and the Beast, but there's also the greek myth of the minotaur in there, while the structure resembles Arabian Nights (a girl tells stories so as to not be killed). I'm curious to hear what you guys think about my analysis, if you agree or if there's some stuff you consider differently. How much of it is true? How much of each comes from stories people in the Grishaverse were actually told ad children? I'll try and find an answer these questions for each tale. I wanted to try and analyze each story, the way they're crafted, but most importantly to try and place them in the Grishaverse canon history. ![]() ![]() I'm also fascinated by fairytales as a genre, so I found this book particularly interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I've always loved fairytales, I've read more than I can remember and watched/read as many adaptations and retellings as I could find and I have to say that this book has some of the most beautiful reimaginings I've come across in a long time. ![]()
